Emergency responders face extraordinary pressures every day, yet often struggle to find time or space to care for their own wellbeing.
That’s where Mind Over Mountains, a mental health charity specialising in nature-based support, is stepping in.
We are proud to be partnering with mental health charity Mind Over Mountains to fund two exclusive, fully funded retreats just for the UK’s emergency services.
These two-day residential retreats are designed to support those who spend their lives helping others. Set in peaceful outdoor locations, they combine guided hill-walking, mindfulness, and expert mental health support to help you step away from the everyday pressures and take time to focus on you.
“By supporting this initiative from Mind Over Mountains, we stand shoulder to shoulder with emergency responders navigating the weight of stress, trauma, and emotional exhaustion. These retreats offer more than respite, they build resilience, restore confidence, and create lasting networks of support. We’re proud to be part of something that brings light, calm, and connection to those who give so much of themselves.”
Emma Woods-Bolger, CEO, Blue Light Card Foundation
Led by experienced coaches and counsellors, the retreats offer practical tools for long-term mental wellbeing in a supportive, judgement-free space.
“We know that frontline workers are under immense pressure,” says Ian Sansbury, from Mind Over Mountains. “These retreats offer more than just time out, they give people practical tools to support long-term mental health, and a community that continues long after the retreat ends.”
