Team Blue Light Card Go the Distance.

On Sunday 28th September, a team of 13 from Blue Light Card laced up their running shoes to take on the Vitality London 10K, raising an incredible £3,350 for the Blue Light Card Foundation.

The event brought together thousands of runners through the streets of London, but for our team, it was about more than just crossing the finish line; it was about coming together to support those in our Blue Light community.

We are so proud of each and every one of our runners for their determination, teamwork, and enthusiasm. From early training runs to the final sprint down The Mall, they showed what it means to Back the Badge.

Every pound raised will go directly towards projects that support the mental and physical wellbeing of the UK’s Blue Light community, including those serving and retired from the NHS, ambulance, fire, and police services.

Our CEO, Emma Woods-Bolger, said:

“This incredible achievement shows the power of our community in action. Every donation helps us continue to fund vital wellbeing projects across the UK,  from counselling and trauma recovery programmes to wellbeing spaces that help rebuild confidence and hope.”

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared, and cheered our runners on along the route.
