Blue Light Card Foundation is proud to be one of the charities being supported by The Gratitude Games, a new multi-sports fundraising event created to recognise the dedication of Emergency Responders and raise vital funds for mental health support.
Designed as a major annual event, The Gratitude Games will bring together serving and retired members of the emergency response sector, along with their families. Some mass-participation events will also be open to the public, creating opportunities for wider communities to get involved, show their support and stand alongside those who serve.
The event has been developed with a clear purpose: to thank Emergency Responders for their commitment, raise awareness of the pressures they face, and generate funds to support mental health across the sector.
The Gratitude Games aims to:
raise funds to help create measurable improvements in mental health across the Emergency Responders sector
increase awareness of the mental health challenges faced by those who serve the public
recognise the daily commitment and sacrifice made by Emergency Responders
provide a platform to improve physical and mental wellbeing
bring Emergency Responders together through a shared sense of support, connection and community
At Blue Light Card Foundation, we know that behind every uniform is a person carrying the impact of the job. Support from fundraising events like The Gratitude Games helps shine a light on that reality, while generating vital income to help charities continue providing meaningful support.
We are grateful to The Gratitude Games for choosing to support the Foundation and for helping to champion the wellbeing of the people behind the uniform.
Registration is now open, and we wish everyone involved every success as this important new event begins its journey.
