Welcome to our new Trustee

We are delighted to welcome Jeff Davies as a Trustee of the Blue Light Card Foundation.

Jeff brings with him a wealth of experience from a distinguished career in policing and investigations. He served for 30 years as a Police Officer in London, spending 20 years with the Metropolitan Police and a further 10 years with the City of London Police. He retired from policing in 2016 at the rank of Detective Chief Superintendent.

Since leaving the police service, he has spent the past nine years working for an international bank based in the City of London, leading complex investigations across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.

Reflecting on his career, Jeff shared:

“Having spent much of my career investigating crime and serious incidents, I have seen first hand the challenges that colleagues across the blue light sector face when attending these significant events. The impact that individuals can experience simply by turning up and doing their jobs, and the long-term effect this can have on them and their families, can never be underestimated.”

Jeff is passionate about supporting those who serve and is keen to use his experience to help shape the Foundation’s work.

“I am very excited to be working with the Blue Light Card Foundation and the other Trustees to deliver the objectives of the organisation and to help support as many individuals as possible throughout their careers.”

We are thrilled to have Jeff join the Board and look forward to the insight, experience and commitment he brings to the Foundation.
